SwiftEnvirons grew from the belief that every project—whether at the molecular scale or the scale of a building, a community, or the planet—requires swift, interdisciplinary understanding of the forces that surround it.
That belief shapes everything we do. We move between disciplines — sustainability, environmental science, architecture, healthcare design, academic research — because the hardest problems rarely respect the boundaries between them. A stem cell research facility, an ultraclean operating room, a resilient shoreline, a well-lit classroom: each is a different scale, but each demands the same thing — people who can see the whole system and act on it quickly.
Who we work with
We partner with a select group of clients and collaborators across sustainability, environmental projects, academic research, healthcare innovation, campus planning, and public-private initiatives. We’re intentionally selective. Depth of partnership matters more to us than breadth of client list, and our long-standing relationships reflect that. Examples include:
California Institute for Regenerative Medicine (CIRM) We provide facilities management in support of California’s stem cell research agency. It’s been an honor to support CIRM’s mission and the search for cures that mission represents.
Innovators in Healthcare An example of our direct support for innovation industry is Sweden’s Avidicare. We lead business development for Avidicare’s ultraclean ventilation technology, built to reduce infection risk in healthcare settings and improve outcomes for patients while supporting the safety and satisfaction of clinical staff. Avidicare is growing a strong team here in the U.S., and we’re honored to support them and to be part of that story.
Healthcare Owners, public and private Developers. We provide front-end project scoping, assessment and analysis. Our experience includes thousands of projects in higher education, healthcare, biomedical research, mixed use, commercial, industrial and energy projects. We have planned communities, infrastructure, education and hospital systems.
Architects looking for adding our expertise to their vibrant teams
,Environmental Planners and Engineers We contribute environmental review and analysis for projects noted above and also for infrastructure including water, solar, geo, wind, and resiliency, drawing on decades of combined experience in planning, design, construction, environmental documentation and review.
As an AIA Continuing Education Provider, we curate a set of CEU courses developed with trusted partners and collaborators, centered on the themes we return to again and again: Light, Air, Energy, Fire Resiliency, Environment, Community, and Design.
What keeps us going
Some of our most rewarding work happens over years, not months. We’ve watched private developer research buildings move from concept to construction. We’ve supported research into lighting and food systems. We’ve helped healthcare facilities take shape, and seen environmental litigation reach successful resolution. There’s a particular satisfaction in watching a project you helped plan actually get built — and we don’t take that for granted.

Our approach
We’re a small, focused practice by design. We take on the initiatives where we can bring real interdisciplinary insight — not just another set of hands, but a way of seeing a project’s full context. If that sounds like the kind of partner you’re looking for, we’d like to hear from you.
Collaboration has always been at the heart of our practice, spanning healthcare design, research, science and technology, product development, and sustainability. We extend our thanks to all of our collaborators and partners.
