This image captures client satisfaction wih the Project Chair Dr. Diana L. Farmer, M.D. Chair of the UC Davis Department of Surgery. She is testing the public space at the Children’s Surgery Center at the UC Davis Children’s Hospital on the Sacramento Campus.
The broader picture is one of the complex layers of clients in the realm of academic medical centers. In the case of this project, those layers included the Regents of the University of California, multiple UCD Chancellors, UCD Health CEO, hospital C-Suite Brad Simmons Tim Maurice, department chairs, multidisciplinary faculty and staff and of course patients and their families. Essential partners include donors and public grants.
The talented team that produced this project included HGA Architects, Greg Osecheck, AIA, NCARB Bill Whipple, Heather Kampa CID, WELL AP, EDAC , the general contractor, Rudolph and Sletten, Jill Davis all led by the stellar project management of UCDavis John Gambone – and so many more contributors.
